How LINKING can help improve your Google ranking

The number of quality incoming links is very important when it comes to search engine ranking. If a popular site has a link to your site, Google recognises your site as a credible website. High volume of links from smaller and relevant sites is also recognised as a mark of credibility. For example, if you own a hairdressing salon and websites such as a nail salon or beauty product site has a link on their website to your site, Google takes note of this information and deems your site more relevant for target search terms in that industry. Google uses PageRank to measure a websites credibility and varys between 1 to 10. the higher the score, the more credible your site is. If a site with has a high PageRank score links to your site, it affects your score positively. My advice is to connect with businesses and directories within the same industry and add your site or ask for a link exchange. Today i want to talk a little about HOW your websites CONTENT can help improve your Google ranking.
Content of a website is everything that appears on your pages such as Blogposts, About us Page and Product descriptions and it's purpose is to give visitors the information they are looking for. The trick to improve your Google's ranking is by writing content  on your webpage's which are relevant to the keywords you are targeting. This is part of SEO (search engine optimisation) process. Blogging (which may seem like an enormous effort) is the most effective method of providing new  informative content and giving Google fresh information to index. Writing relevant and interesting articles centered around your keywords, will help with Google ranking and increase the size of your content. Google likes sites which are up to date and large in content. But do not over use the keywords. Aim is to achieve a keyword density between 6-9% and no more than 10%. Example, if your content had 1,000 words aim to include your key words about 60 to 90 times on the page.
